With the introduction of LCS, we are setting new standards with front loaders. It combines several major technical achievements into one concurrent system that gives the user a new level of control, usability, effectiveness and safety.


Core technical components
of the LCS™ are:

A dedicated front loader valve programme (an industry first!) where the valves are designed and optimized especially for the needs and functions of a front loader. The flow optimization for each loader function gives the driver an unprecedented feel and control over his work, even when working with maximum loads.

The dedicated valve also enables consistent power and control throughout the work since it does not affect the tractors subsequent hydraulics. The tailor made valve design furthermore means more energy-effective, fuel reducing operations.

A uniquely designed flat face quick coupling: Saving both time and the environment. Spill-free separate or multi-couplings with swivelled hoses turns connecting both hydraulics and electronics into one single easy-handled operation. The construction enables safe, pressure-less coupling and easy cleaning and maintenance.

A new, thumb-steered electronic joystick, that further enhances the driving characteristics and ergonomics. It gives the driver more control with less effort, and thus minimizes the strain with working long hours.

The joystick is mounted on a flexible arm, which further improves the manoeuvrability since movements from driving on uneven ground will not transmit to the joystick control. Included on the new joystick, is a large screen with an easy to use menu system for quick access and function overview.

LCS - Technical Advantages in Brief

Ålö LCS Open Centre valve has the same driving properties as the Ålö LCS Load Sensing valve. Both valves are essentially load sensing internally.

Full control when handling heavy loads. The oil flow is load independent i. e. the rated lower/ raise speed stays virtually the same whether the loader is fully loaded or unloaded. The driver will not “sense” the weight and will not have to change driving technique for different tasks (the oil flow is always directly proportional to the joystick input). This also brings vastly improved double action functionality, for instance when lowering and crowding simultaneously.

Both lift and implement circuit features float position. Apart from driving benefits, this also enables easy connection/disconnection, even when keeping the engine running.

Both the implement and lift circuit uses low pressure regeneration. It’s an energy saving technique that reuses oil flow when dumping and lowering. It will always keep the cylinders filled with oil, even on tractors with low hydraulic flow. No more cavitations in the cylinders and no more waiting, even when leaving the engine at idle speed.

Both open centre and load sensing valve will limit the pressure reaching the loader to 190bar. Neither of them will affect the tractor system pressure. For example if an open centre tractor has 210 bar system pressure, it will keep that even with a LCSTM fitted.

The load sensing valve has a pre-heating function to prevent thermo shock. This is active only at low pressures and closes automatically once the loader starts working.

All quick couplers are flat face and spill free and also very easy to keep clean.

Other features and benefits

Ergonomically designed electric joystick incorporating a background lit display. The operator can control it using only the thumb or thumb and index finger combined. The display shows chosen function as well as helps when setting it up.

New compact multi coupler with integrated electric connector. Includes swivelling couplers between hoses and multi coupler making it much easier to handle. The lower part of the multi coupler is integrated in the LCS valve design.

The electric joystick and the valve communicate using the CAN-bus protocol. The system can be adapted to communicate with can bus tractors.

New play free attachment between the wire and valve for mechanical system.
